 Sam Bradley performed to a packed venue at The Half Moon last night. Performing acoustically and solo with no band really showed his vocal talents. Despite being jet-lagged, as he had only returned from the US the day before, he entertained everyone in the room.  

It was great as a fan to hear Details as he hasn't played this in a while. She Moves Me was a highlight of the night. Sam's clear vocals and a silent attentive audience made this a memorable song and they showed their appreciation with loud applause. 

Sam's set was part of a all day festival and the crowd loved him. 

His intro's to songs were as entertaining and funny as ever. Sam's talent as a singer-songwriter and as an entertainer keeps getting better and better and he gained many new fans.

ENCORE  - She Moves Me

That’s How Strong My Love Is

You know those wishes you have for one of your favourite musicians? A pivotal career moment? The dream gig that musician have for themselves? Yea… that happened. Sam Bradley performing at The Troubadour in London, his new EP just released, to a sold out crowd :)

To say the atmosphere was amazing would be an understatement. Every fan in the venue loved Sam and they made it known by singing along to Too Far Gone, hand clapping to the beat of Lights and loud applause at the end of each song. This was a celebration for Sam and everyone that had supported his music.

Sam performed most songs with his equally talented sister Grace Lindsey, and 3 band members. The gig was definitely a family affair, with their mother Lee Lindsey in the audience, and Sam and Grace performing Only Human, co-written by Lee. Another song from his new EP, Little Sister really shows off Sam’s vocal range. The performance of his EP’s title track Not Your Kind and the energetic performance (by Sam, Grace and the audience) of Bless Her Soul was a great way to persuade fans to purchase his EP as soon as they could, if they hadn't done so already that is.  A new song You Don’t Mean Nothing To Me was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone there.

The gig was a big success and gained Sam new fans as well as cementing his relationship with his loyal fanbase. Sam just gets better and better. I attended the gig with 2 first timers and they told me afterwards how much they enjoyed Sam’s music and would love to see him perform again in the future. 2 new fans made. Job done. ..until the next gig ;)

It’s not easy performing to an audience who are mainly there to see someone else but Sam did more than a great job! Sam has joined the talented Ryan Keen to travel up and down the UK for his ‘Room For Light’ tour (with extra support from the equally talented Joel Baker). His set was a great combination of upbeat songs and ballads with the crowd especially loving the title track from his upcoming EP Not Your Kind (dropping digitally on iTunes on the 20th May) and the strong vocals of Go Back. 

I stole a quick glance over to the few loyal supporters of Sam in the room, who happily mouthed the words to fan favourite Too Far Gone and cheered when Sam sang the compulsory swear word as his opening to Lights. 

Sam’s sister Grace Lindsey joined Sam on stage to perform Only Human, which was co-written by their mum Lee Lindsey, and it really showed off both their vocal talents. Sam left the stage after a 7 song set with the whole audience loving his music. This was further proved after the gig when a great number of new fans found their way to his merch table.

I look forward to seeing Sam (and Ryan and Joel..) again on their UK tour, on the 22nd April, in Norwich.
